My product review:

Great alternative to propane. Good quality, easy assemble and simple use, make it a great choice.

The electric version of the restaurant style patio heater by Cowsar, is a great way to get the quality, and styling, while increasing usability, and versatility. Here are some of the things I’ve learned while owning it and things to consider before buying.

       I.          Versatility – With this version of the patio heater, you get almost the same benefits as its propane cousin, with increased versatility. You can actually take this one inside the house if desired, and it works really well when you don’t have a breeze to rob your area of heat. It’s a lot of fun to use it in the living room, because of its unusual styling for that environment. I also like not having to refill a propane tank.

      II.          Quality – The quality of this heater is pretty good. The construction and materials used, should equal to a long life of service.

    III.          Heat Production – The heat that’s produced is not as good as its propane competitor, but I found it sufficient for me. The lower setting was hot enough most of the time. The heat is somewhat limited in its range by not having a blower, it just rains down heat and doesn’t radiate out very far.

    IV.          Waterproof – Its surprisingly waterproof to some degree despite being electric, but I would still be careful about the plug connection. Its rated at IP65, so it should keep solid objects out and resist low pressure water from any angle. I haven’t really put it to the test, but it held up well when accidently left in a small amount of water exposure.

     V.          Assemble & Usability – The assemble is fairly simple and shouldn’t be a problem, but be careful with the sharp edges of the piping during assamble. The daily use is super simple, just plug it in and flip one or two toggle switched for 750W or 1500W.

Overall, I’m very happy with this product and look forward to its continued use for a long time, at least when it’s cold enough. Unless your highly concerned about the electric bill or want the maximum heat production possible, this is a great alternative or in addition to the propane version.
