Great filtering pump that utilizes sand instead of replaceable filters to effectively clean 1000GPH.

The 1000 GPH Pool Sand Filter Pump by KimFilter, has been a great little filter pump that has kept my 10X10 above ground pool surprisingly clean. Unlike my last filter pump, this one uses quartz sand (not included) instead of the more typical paper filters. This provides a more natural filtering process that’s actually quite effective. It does a great job of keeping the pool clean and even has a 1-10-hour auto shutoff timer. The set-up was simple and just as it appears in the ad. The quality is above average and should last for long time. The motor is a bit loud, but no more than expected. It feels like this product is currently offering a good value considering the quality, performance, durability and what you’re getting.

Overall, this has been a wonderful upgrade to my pool pump filter, that allows me a more natural and sustainable way to keep my pool super clean. It’s been simple to use and highly effective. I’ll be sure to update this review, if I ever start to have problems with it.
