 My Review of This Ice Maker:

Very attractive retro styling that produces ice fast and furiously, that’s on the quieter side.

The Retro Ice Maker by Kumio, is a great little ice maker that will provide bullets of glorious ice quickly and conveniently for all your worthy occasions. Here are some of the things I’ve learned while owning it and things to consider before buying.

      I.          Quality – You can tell it’s not a high end product, but it actually feels pretty good for a countertop ice maker. I’d put it in the upper-middle level of the quality scale and guess it’ll survive for a good amount of time, assuming the electronics survive.

    II.          Performance – Its works good at producing ice fast, getting you first small batch after 8-10 minutes and filling up after a few hours. It should work good for smaller parties to supply your ice needs assuming you start the event full. The ice is bullet shaped and harder than some others I have. It’s not very insolated, so its inefficient at keeping ice for long periods. It can’t be hooked up to a constant water source, but instead has an on board water tank. I really like the very handy self-cleaning feature. It’s also a great sixe for RV’s and camping.

Overall, I love this little ice maker and the gold it produces, while having such a cute retro style. I’ve fully enjoyed using it on the weekends or when I have guests. I wish it could be hooked up to a constant water source and insolated to always be on, but I guess that would cost significantly more, so I’ll love it the way it is. I’ll be sure to update this review, if I ever start to have problems with it.
