My Review:

Great portable hoop that has an easily adjustable height and the ability to weight the base.

The Portable Basketball Hoop by Mayfire, is a great way to put up a decent hoop without construction, that’s movable, adjustable and can handle kids or adults. Here are some of the things I’ve learned while owning it and things to consider before buying.

      I.          Quality – This is a decently solid hoop that’s not NBA level, but still nice enough for most uses. It has a little bit of a cheaper aspect to it when compared to one at a gym. I’d put it in the upper-middle level of the quality scale for a home basketball hoop.

    II.          Assemble – It’s a little more difficult then I was imagining, but more time consuming then hard to do.

  III.          Performance – This thing works great for my needs. It can easily be adjusted from 4.1 to 8.5 feet, but it can be adjusted really fast with an innovative push button slide. The rim isn’t spring loaded, if you’re a dunker. The base is sufficient to provide stability and you can use sand or water to achieve 101 pounds of weight. It gives a good solid bounce and sound to the ball while shooting, it even has a place to keep the ball when not in use.

Overall, this is a great choice for the casual player that wants one at home to play with the kids or the adults. It can easily be set up, adjusted and moved when needed, providing a great experience. I’ll be sure to update this review, if I ever start to have problems with it.
