My Review:

Good quality, solid feeling, clear picture, 64GB hub that’s expandable and a decent app for viewing.

This 4K Security Cameras plus Hub by REOLINK, is a good set-up for some situations with its sturdy construction, easy set-up and good quality. Here are some of the things I’ve learned while owning it and things to consider before buying.

      I.          Quality – This set-up feels like very good quality cameras made with good materials that should last a long time assuming the electronics hold up. I would put them in the lower side of the upper tier of the quality scale.

    II.          Usability – They’re easy to set-up and use with the app. The picture quality is clear and very usable with the ability to store your events on the included 64GB SD card that’s expandable to 512GB X2. This is a great way to save on subscription fees. This set offers many helpful features like notifications, smart detection and 2-way communication.

  III.          Set-up – Its fairly easy to set-up and shouldn’t cause you too many problems if your capable of doing this kind of installation.

  IV.          No Solar – These don’t have attached solar, so you’ll have to take them down periodically (depending on the level of motion) to recharge the battery leaving a gap in camera coverage. They claim 5 months, but I’m getting nothing even close to that. They last about a week currently, but it’ll vary wildly if it’s a high motion area.

Overall, this is a solid set of cameras, that have both quality and usability if you are willing to charge them periodically. This has been a great way for me to add additional security measures and ways to monitor activities all around the house. For me it’s a much better choice to get a system that includes solar to keep the camera that includes solar panels   I’ll be sure to update this review, if I ever start to have problems with it.
