My Review:

Great package deal with good performance, that’s easy to use, has held up well, providing high value

The 4.5 CFM HVAC Vacuum Pump by VTG VOGTEN, is a great way to accomplish many DIY tasks at home with solid performance, all at a great value currently. Here are some of the things I’ve learned about it while owning it and things to consider before buying.

      I.          Quality – The set includes a mix of quality between the different parts. The main pump is good quality that appear to be made pretty well considering the cost. That being said, it defiantly looks like a generic build. I’d put it in the upper-middle level of the quality scale for this type of machine and guess it should last longer then it’ll take for me to get my value out of it.

    II.          Performance – Its worked well for my needs and left me happy with the performance. Although, this is by no means a professional version of this machine, it has worked great so far. The connections were easy to use and they held strong, but have a cheaper feel to them. The pump sounds and works well getting the job done. The oil doesn’t leak, they include some and I haven’t had any faults or failures. The gauges and hoses also feel very generic, but have worked effectively for checking refrigerant levels and toping up. The leak detector is a great bonus, that can be very useful if you don’t have one.

Overall, this has been a great package that includes a ton of needed things to service many A/C systems, as well as a few other things. The performance, quality and high value have left me more than happy to have it on my team. I’ll be sure to update this review, if I ever start to have problems with it.
