My Review:

Wonderful nugget ice maker that’s fairly quick, simple to use and easy to clean, but not for storing.

The Mini Nugget Ice Maker by WIE, is a great little counter top ice maker that will provide the gold of the ice world quickly and conveniently for all your get togethers. Here are some of the things I’ve learned while owning it and things to consider before buying.

      I.          Quality – It has a bit of a generic feel to it, but it’s good enough to do the job and should survive for a fair amount of time, assuming the electronics survive. You can tell it’s not a high end product, but it still feels pretty good like it’s made of upper-middle level materials.

    II.          Performance – Its works good at producing ice pretty fast getting you first small batch after 6 minutes and filling up after an hour or two. It should work good for smaller parties to supply your ice needs assuming you start the event full. The ice is softer and more chewable, like all ice lovers adore. It’s not very insolated, so its inefficient at keeping ice for long periods. It can’t be hooked up to constant water source, but does have a very handy self-cleaning feature.

Overall, I love this little ice maker and the gold it produces. I’ve fully enjoyed using it often and even more when I have guests. I wish it could be hooked up to a constant water source and insolated to always be on, but I guess that would cost significantly more, so I’ll love it the way it is. I’ll be sure to update this review, if I ever start to have problems with it.
